Toured the Rock of Cashel.
Unfortunately, I lost my notebook where I had been keeping all my notes about experiences, feelings, and people. You can imagine my distress. I still hope to recover it somehow, but I have started another one, anyway. Boo.

Tender travels of earth and mind

The bus from Limerick to Cahair (sp?) went through Tipperary and I don't think it stopped, so all the foreigners made our foreignnerness obvious by mashing ourselves against the window desperately trying to spot signs with the name "Tipperary" on them and get a half-decent picture. Too bad about the notebook. I like to blame Rick Steves when something goes wrong.
Ouch. Someday someone will publish (without your approval) The Lost Notebooks of Unduly Amplified, and it will cause a sensation! I left my journal (address book included) in a phone booth in Grayling, Michigan, en route from the U.P. to Indiana, lamenting and then romanticizing my loss as emblematic of my Journey. ha.
Also a movie title Rob Reiner, Rom Hanks, or Meg Ryan might be interested in: Temporarily in Tipperary.
